This project explores the Greek mythology of Medusa. She is often portrayed as a dark and evil character. I wanted to explore the possibility that she was innocent and undeserving of her curse, and how she has become an icon for female empowerment. 
This work received an NCEA level 3 excellence scholarship and was presented in the Top Art Exhibition
